Process Overview
How the Rotary Drum Coal Drying Process Works
The system combines heat generation, rotary drying, and dust collection to achieve efficient moisture reduction for industrial coal processing.
After wet coal enters the drying drum, it first contacts high-temperature hot air for rapid moisture evaporation at the feeding section, then is lifted by guide plates into a uniform material curtain to achieve full heat exchange with hot air. As moisture continuously evaporates and is exhausted by the induced draft fan, coal moisture steadily decreases to a qualified level below 15%. Finally, the material rolls and slides smoothly through the plate-free discharging section to the outlet, completing the entire drying process efficiently.
